Rock School

XFM Scotland is about to launch into its annual Rock School competition. The radio station is giving the best local bands the chance to perform in front of thousands of fans at its Winter Wonderland event at Glasgow academy in December.

The winning band will also receive £1000 worth of musical gear.
The competition is open to musicians aged between 14 and 18. Visit www.xfmscotland.co.uk/rockschool for details.

Teachers!

We are continuously being asked for details of instrument teachers. A new tuition database is being created so leave your contact and instrument details with us to be given out. May we remind all teachers that it is recommended to have a disclosure certificate available if you are going to be teaching children.

New Guitar Teacher!
Great news! Tune Up Music Guitar Studio is opening today at the Delta Studios in Larbert. It is being run by local teacher Lewis Cannon. We have spoken to Lewis and he tells us that he’s hoping to not only teach the guitar as an instrument but also to hold band workshops so that people can get training in the actual group performance that goes with being a guitarist.
It sounds really good!
Ring Lewis on 01324 825609 or 07902035270
